PANERA MENU EVOLUTION
2024 brought Panera a new CEO and mission: revitalize the business by radically improving cafe and digital efficiency. Digital was given carte blanche to identify key points in and redesign the Panera Menu Experience.
We started by aggregating our discovery research, analytics and CX data to identify key moments in the customer funnel. Through design-led cross-team prioritization workshops, we finalized a robust product roadmap.
In order to accomplish the herculean roadmap in an accelerated timeline, we reorganized product, tech and UX hand-off into a series of design sprints. Excitement and improved process resulted in a record amount of design output, including complete redesigns of the menu, purchase flow, product page, category page and search.
