Panera Catering REDESIGN
As Panera’s catering business grew, it became increasingly plain that the outdated catering website and tech debt were limiting revenue growth.
The UX team conducted discovery research with customers as well as a series of usability tests on the current site to identify existing pain points. The new designs sought to address issues as well as create a headless CMS to improve content strategy.
Unfortunately, the first round of AB Testing was was a loss. Undeterred, the team conducted more usability testing, made design tweaks and conducted another round of quantitative testing. The second test was a resounding win with a projected revenue lift 18% YoY growth and 3M in revenue.
The project also won the design team User Testing’s coveted Illumi Award for Digital Impact!
